It is with a heavy heart and with the greatest sadness that I must inform you of the sudden passing of R.W.Bro. Stephen Davison who died unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on 19th April.
R.W.Bro. Steve first came to prominence in the Order in 2010 when he was appointed Provincial Grand Secretary for Leicestershire & Rutland – an office he held for three years before succeeding as Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Provincial Grand Master and then in 2017, Assistant Grand Master.
One of life’s gentle giants who always had a smile and a warm handshake for everyone he met. He discharged his duties with a quiet confidence and was well skilled in putting anxious Brethren at ease.
Undoubtedly, R.W.Bro. Steve was one of the nicest people anyone would wish to meet, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family as they struggle to come to terms with this unexpected
situation.
