Malvery Priory Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.1351– Presentation of 50th Year Certificate

At the Regular Business Meeting of Malvern Priory Lodge held on Wednesday 9th September, the 50th anniversary of V W Bro Brian Philip Scoffield joining Mark Masonry was celebrated. Before the presentation of the 50th Year Certificate, the Brethren received a very interesting and thought-provoking talk from W Bro John H V Moore entitled “The Importance of the Mark Degree for all Masonic Degrees”. The PGM, R W Bro Rev Fr Justin T Parker, then undertook the presentation of the 50th Year Certificate, but first he gave a light-hearted resume of V W Bro Brian’s personal and Masonic career. One fact stood out, which was that W Bro Brian had held of the Office of Secretary of the Lodge for 32 years, between 1985 and 2017. This was followed by the Proclamation, which was delivered by the Provincial Director of Ceremonies, W Bro Stuart J Cameron. The PGM was well supported by the Provincial team. The Brethren retired to a most enjoyable and convivial Festive Board.
