Mark Brethren all
I hope you’re all still doing OK. This will be the third communication I’ve sent out and I hope it brings a little relief from your individual lockdown. The first week I sent out a quiz based on famous Freemasons and I will now publish the answers and who managed to get them all correct, but before I do I wish to send my congratulations to all those Brethren who will, as from tomorrow Saturday 6th June, take Provincial Office for the year 2020-2021. It should have been the annual Provincial Grand Lodge and Brethren would either have been Invested with active Provincial Rank or Past Provincial Rank or Promoted. Although the Provincial meeting has been postponed all those Provincial ranks will become active from the 6th and the Brethren involved will be Invested at some point, hopefully, in the not too distant future.
I also wish to congratulate those Brethren from Worcestershire who will receive Grand Rank as from Tuesday 9th June. They being W Bro John Bentley, PAGDC, W Bro Eric Lee, PAGDC and W Bro Mark Winfield, Grand Steward. In addition RW Frank Spencer will be reappointed as Grand Director of Ceremonies and WBro Justin Parker will be reappointed as Assistant Grand Chaplain and we must of course not forget also the reappointment of MW Bro Raymond Smith (Almoners and Ch Stwds) as Pro Grand Master, RW Bro John Prizeman (Almoners and Ch Stwds) as Deputy Grand Master and RW Bro Ryan Williams (Prov DC’s) as Grand Secretary
Congratulations to W Bro Brian Gargett, DPGM (Glouc & Herefordshire) Provincial DC’s Lodge, W Bro Glyn Condliffe, Mosaic Lodge and W Bro Paul Yarnell, APGM, who all achieved full marks in the Quiz from Issue 1.
