ISSUE 10 – Substantial Growth in the Province
The lockdown from London has come to an end and they tell us that it is possible to hold meetings, but do we want to? Are our meeting places safe? Will our Ceremonies be safe? I don’t know the answers to these questions, only time will tell. Meanwhile I will continue to do my best and supply you with information, quizzes and other anecdotes. However, last week I asked for you to send me your one liners, where are they? I’ve had a few naughty ones so I’m not sharing those. I’ve also not had many replies to the countries quiz I sent out. Too difficult for you or are you just fed up?
Here are a few more one line groaners:-
I drank a bucketful of beer last night – It was pail ale!
Never realised until today that Karl Marx’s sister, Onya, invented the starting pistol!
What was the best thing before sliced bread?
Come on admit it, it brought a smile to your face and I bet you use them on the family.
This week I’ve written more about the growth of the Province and the very important roll that Moseley Mark Lodge played in those early years. I hope you find it interesting. Don’t forget you can contact me anytime using the Provincial email address, I need more answers to the last quiz and your one liners.
