Mark Brethren all
Hope you are all keeping safe and well. Instead of a group of Baby Boomers we’ve become a group of Baby Zoomers.
Having watched a Horizon documentary on the Coronavirus earlier this week, I am more uncertain as to when we will be able to meet again and share great times doing our combined hobby. The last meeting I attended was Moseley Centenary on 2nd March, which was a great evening and I managed to have some quality conversation with W Bro Sam Williams, RIP Sam.
With these unprecedented times which we are facing I see no reason why we shouldn’t still enjoy our Masonry, albeit in a different format. I would like to put out a series of information circulars and need the help of you all. I would like each Lodge to send me a small history about your Mother Lodge from Consecration to present day. I will then piece items together and send it to all the Worcestershire Mark Brethren bit by bit over the coming weeks. I may also send some other Worcestershire snippets and maybe a quiz or two.
In fact, if you click on this link:
it will lead you to a Masonic picture quiz. For those of you who prefer not to click buttons in an E-mail you can find the quiz on our Mark Provincial website under Masonic Picture Quiz in the ‘Downloads’ Section. There are twenty photographs of famous Freemasons, and all you have to do is to let me have your answers by email to me at :-
There is no need to send back the photographs, just a list numbered 1-20 and the name of who you think it is. I will allow one week from today and then let you know who has scored the most, there may even be a prize.
In the meantime Brethren, please stay safe and I look forward to the time when we can all meet again and enjoy one another’s company.
W.Bro. Jeff Whiteley, P.G.S.D., D.P.G.M.
