Provincial Registrar to Step Down

Provincial Registrar.

After many years of loyal and dedicated service to our province W Bro Fred Hall has decided that now would be a good time to withdraw from an ever increasing and demanding role as Provincial Registrar.

Accordingly, The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Eric John Rymer, has reluctantly accepted Fred’s resignation with immediate effect.

Fred first took on the duties of Provincial Registrar in 2006. His appointment followed previous active offices of Provincial Grand Sword Bearer during 1992 and Provincial Grand Senior Warden in 2003. The experience gained during these former times helped him become a much respected and loved member throughout the province.

His dedication to duty in connection with his post together with his work on the Provincial Executive Committee has been exemplary and was recognised in 2015 when he received the PGM Certificate of Merit for outstanding service to our Province.

Fred has been a regular visitor at all lodges, particularly at Installation Meetings, gathering detail necessary to complete the year book entries for all lodges.

The PGM is sure you all join him in saying a huge thankyou to Fred for the many years of attendance and dedication towards the services delivered throughout his term as our Registrar.

We wish him well and hope to see him in our lodges for many years to come.

Appointment of Provincial Registrar.

As previously announced W Bro Robin Stanton was to have been invested into the office of Provincial Registrar at the next meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge to be held on the 30th June.

Work in connection with the management of the province must continue, the PGM is therefore pleased to announce that W Bro Robin Stanton has accepted an offer to take on the duties of Provincial Registrar with immediate effect.
