Malvern Priory Lodge No. 1351 Installation and 50th anniversary meeting

On Wednesday 6th March 2019, Malvern Priory Lodge of Mark Master Masons enjoyed a very special evening as they were able to celebrate their 50th anniversary in the presence of one of their founder members. Regular readers of this website may recall that last September a certificate marking 50 years of service to the order was presented to WBro John Guise PAGChap.

John wasted no time in becoming a founder member of Malvern Priory Lodge and so a mere six months later, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master John King, the Presiding Officer at the Installation meeting, was delighted to present a certificate to the Malvern Priory Lodge in recognition of 50 years of uninterrupted working.

The rest of the evening was a great success, the Worshipful Master continued in office and appointed his Officers for the ensuing year, confident that it will be a good year. A beautifully produced Mark token had been struck for the occasion, which was presented to all present along with a history of the Lodge and a pen as a memento of the occasion.

This is not the end of the celebrations for the Malvern Priory Lodge of Mark Master Masons as it enters its 51st year. Wednesday the 8th May 2019 will witness the Consecration of the Malvern Priory Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, which will be held at Worcester, although the regular meetings will be held in Malvern. One of the founder members will be none other than WBro John Guise.

All in all, a fantastic evening enjoyed by all who attended.
