During the recent Open Day held at Malvern Masonic Hall, Malvern Priory Lodge of Mark Master Masons made two donations to nominated charities.
- Macmillan Cancer was in memory of W Bro Chris Richards who, after a long battle with cancer, finally passed away in April; a cheque of £250 was donated.
- Heartstart Malvern was W Bro Tony Baker’s nominated Charity (whilst in the Chair) and £500 was donated.

Our PGM, R W Bro Eric John Rymer recently announced that our province would take part in The Mark Benevolent Fund Charity Walk 2017.
We are to be represented by a team of EIGHT walkers, under the direction of W Bro Joe Marzouk. They will follow the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk passing through FOUR beautiful London Parks, a distance of approximately seven miles.
A circular route commencing and finishing at Mark Masons Hall in St James’s Street, on Saturday 6th May.
Our representatives known as the “Worcestershire Walkers” are counting on your support to make a worthy contribution to the fund.

Zoё’s Place Baby Hospice – Coventry
Zoё’s Place provides palliative respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants.
Brethren from the Craft and Mark Degrees joined forces on Sunday 4th September at Royal Hearsall Golf Club for the benefit of Zoes Place and raised £350.
J.J. Pritchard, a member of a Hearsall Golf Club and a Past Master of The Coventrian Lodge organised a Sunday Lunch to which members of The Coventry Foundation Lodge were also invited.
A request for support was answered by the Master and several brethren from the Fairways Mark Lodge which helped swell the numbers and the amount raised.
During the open day at the Masonic Rooms in Malvern on the 25th June, Malvern Priory Mark Lodge No 1351 presented the Worcester Army Cadet Force Charitable Trust with a cheque for £650 in support of the excellent youth development work undertaken within the area.
On the same day Malvern Hills Craft Lodge No 6986 made presentations of £1,100 to the Acorns Children’s Hospice and a further £500 to the Worcestershire Acute Hospital (Rory the Robot) Prostate Appeal.
WELL DONE A splendid total of £2,150 from Freemasons supporting the whole community across the County.

A very successful event on Tuesday 12th July with 56 golfers enjoying a fine course at Kings Norton Golf Club, in rather mixed weather conditions. The scores perhaps reflected the difficulties of the conditions but everyone remained positive.
Throughout the day an excellent £1,000 was raised towards the 2022 Festival Fund.
Many thanks to the hard-working committee and in particular to Paul Battle whose efforts on our behalf are tireless and always result in a fine occasion to be enjoyed by everyone.
The winners trophies being presented by the Provincial Grand Master, R W Bro R C Vaughan, following the evening meal.
Next years event will be held on Tuesday 11th July at the same venue.

George Simpson and Mel Broadhurst who recently presented a Donation and Teddy Bears to the Riverbank Children’s Ward, at Worcester Royal Hospital, thanks to the kindness of customers and staff at Peters Garden Centre, Norton, Worcester.
The Provincial Grand Master handed over a cheque for £2000 to Surgeons Tim Martin and Sat Palmer of the Maxifillofacial Unit of the Hospital to help offset the cost of new equipment recently installed within the specialist unit dealing with re-construction following invasive surgery for the treatment of Cancer.

W Bro George Simpson put on a display of classic cars in support of the Hospitals Annual Fun Day Event held at the County Cricket Ground, Edgbaston.
With many major Sponsor’s attending the day was a great success attracting a large number of visitors.
